FRANCE

It is July in France and the sunflower fields are bursting! The weather has been up and down - lots of sun mixed with huge thunderstorms that cool everything off. Awoke to fog yesterday, but today is blissfully filled with sunlight peeking through the clouds....glorious.

There was a festival in town a couple of weeks ago and the "flowers" are still in place. It is so magical (!) and they last through the storms because they are all plastic! Fantastic.....

I am so happy to be here again....kind of like my Mecca......

New World

I have been PAINTING! It is a whole new world for me and I LOVE IT,

I must thank my friend, Jodi, for inspiring me to go to the class with her. It has given me new energy.

Is may be my favorite one so far.......

....though I like this one very much also.....

PAINTING!

I have been painting - a LOT!

I have been taking a class on Tuesday evenings the last 6 weeks and it has opened new windows of inspiration for me....I am soooooo grateful to my friend, Jodi, for introducing me to this New World!

This may be my favorite, though I feel that way about most of them......

.....and I LOVE this one, too! So different for me.....

...and not last OR least, these birds make me smile.

Wonder where this will take me......

A New Project

I started this heart back in November.

I have finally returned to it and am pretty happy about the way it is coming along.

It is a birthday gift for my young friend, Addison.

She is home from college for an internship and I want to give it to her this weekend.

I sure hope she likes it.

Looking Back

Here are a few photos of some of the goodies I made for the Faire at Christmastime.

Since I had not figured out how to upload photos at that time, I thought I would post them now.

I really LOVE these little lambs that I made. Each one has its own personality!

I made them from paper clay and then gave them matchstick legs and sawdust "wool"

It Worked!

OMG! It worked again! Yippee! Yippee!

Tis makes me very happy!!! (..........can't tell you how happy....woo woo!)

It is Sunday and I have been working on LOTS of things for the Etsy shop. I figure the time has finally come to get myself going on this. Thanks to ALL the encouragement from ALL MY FRIENDS who have great faith in me. Can't help myself, folks. I could create and make 24/7........hmmmm.......I guess I already do! Now, I will have a place for everything - yay!

Above is a photo of a few of the little ladies I have been painting, though this is in beginning stages. They are now finished and ready to go. There will be more....a LOT more!
