I am really enjoying this new kind of painting - suits me better than canvas, I think. The possibilities are endless and, once again, I wish there were more hours in the day.

The weather has been beautiful and it is soooo inspiring. Check out pantry violets for a close-up of my studio garden.......

INTERVIEW

Hello All.....

A few weeks ago, my friend, Kathy Davis, emailed and asked if I, with my mom, would be a part of her Mother's Day Celebration of mothers and daughters who are artists and how they inspire one another. We said, "YES"

A couple of days ago, she let us know that MORE magazine is going to post it on their site, as well!

How very exciting!

I encourage you all to check it out the week before Mother's Day, which is on May 13th this year. Check it out on the 6th, I bet. I'll let you know for sure when I find out.

My Latest Insanity

Not much color,

but I have finally done what I have been intending to do

What would I do without SUE?!

Now, this is about a friend of mine who has been there for me through thick and thin, through tragedy and triumph, laughter, tears, the good, the bad, the ugly....adventures through Europe, down the Grand Canyon on rafts in the middle of winter (!!!!!) ........ birth, death... and all the "in-betweens"

I think she would say the same about me....

Anyway, I got a box in the mail today and inside was the most wonderful jacket that she decorated for me for my birthday.

It is the perfect color - she knows me inside-out. It is the perfect "cozy" size and fluff and all that..... I absolutely love it and feel so lucky to have my girl in my life.

What on Earth would we do without one another, dear Sue? I love you! thank you a bunch xo
