My father-in-law died this evening around 9:30 pm MDT.
He has been ill for quite awhile and under home care for the past 8 months. The last two days have been rough and he went quickly. It is a blessing, but nothing about losing someone special is easy.
May he rest in peace.
I am sorry to read your news. Hope you will soon find comfort in happy memories of your father-in-law.

Sorry for your loss. He looked like a darling man. Condolences to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteSo very sorry to hear of your loss.
ReplyDeleteOh Thank You, ladies, for your thoughts and concern.
ReplyDeleteIt is a blessing, in so many ways.
He was a wonderful, sweet man and will certainly be missed.
Still, we will all be together this weekend, talking about our fond memories and doing quite a bit of laughing .... and crying ......
... all part of the circle of life ........
xo
He is lucky to have had you in his life. Have a very special weekend with family, as I am sure you will. Have a safe trip down there.
ReplyDeleteOh Jone.......how quickly Bruce passed away.....I hope it was a peaceful process for him....and how timely that Cullen was with him just last weekend. I will hold all of you deep in my "heart pocket" as you lay him to rest. The photo of Bruce is darling, and I am so glad that I had that brief chance to meet him in Santa Fe at Cullen's office. Please give Cullen a big squeeze from me. LOVE- Your Oolie
ReplyDeleteWhat sad news Jone, .....my thoughts are with you all and especially with Cullen. What a lovely man he looks in the photograph.....
