Bruce Hallmark

My father-in-law died this evening around 9:30 pm MDT.

He has been ill for quite awhile and under home care for the past 8 months. The last two days have been rough and he went quickly.

It is a blessing, but nothing about losing someone special is easy.

May he rest in peace.

Amazing Drawing

Grayson has taken up drawing at the ripe old age of 16 and a half.

I am sharing with you one of his masterpieces.... it blew me away when I saw it:

These are done on a piece of 8X10 paper - teeny, tiny lines forming teeny tiny images.

I guess there IS a little of his mother on him....

My son Grayson was in a "Dance-Off" at school yesterday

and they were soooooo good that they were called up to do an ENCORE!

The Little Shop

Slowly, but surely, I am getting things made so that I can fill up

the Little Shop on the Corner.

These are my latest "Favorite Thing"

How 'bout these Red Ones?!!

They are much smaller than they look in this photo -

only about one and a half inches tall

Here is a little shelf that is on the table in the middle of the room

This shelf is pretty full of a LOT of stuff.

And the window that looks out on the street...

..and across to the Teahouse.

I love the space, but am still quite nervous about it.

Quite a commitment...whew....
